How might you fit in to the Global Arts Retreat?
Imagining a few scenarios…

Amy Artist   can’t wait to have studio time- she spends most of the week in the studio and on Friday shows the group her drawings & paintings. Her artist soul is fed and she is jazzed!

Healing Henry   has always wanted to be a singer but his first grade teacher squashed his passion. He spends most of his time working with voice improvisation- in sessions with the group and belting out songs on his many solo nature walks. In circle time he shares his story and all are deeply moved.

Techno Tina   can’t wait to connect with other global visionaries. She generates and participates in dozens of sizzling conversations on issues that mean the world to her. Within the first few days she’s already created a live online community where she is connecting our work with folks near and far. On Thursday she presents a rocking video she’s made during the week and she emails everyone a picture of themselves and the group.

Listening Linda   needs time alone. She comes to some of the classes, but hardly speaks. She listens to the wind in the trees and the sound of the grass growing. She gets a massage every day and comes to the spiritual practices. On Friday she shows the group a branch she has decorated with the treasures from nature she has found on her many walks. She says nothing, but everyone understands. She leaves feeling deeply restored.

Passionate Peter   engages from day one. He has no idea what will emerge or the ‘real’ reason he has come, but he knows he is supposed to be here. He throws himself into the process- singing, painting, theater, conversations and also the river! ~ By Thursday he has had an epiphany and he shares it in a ‘TED talk’ that sparks the group into action. Plans are made for follow through and his team of co-conspirators pulls off a major project in the following year.

Co-creative Carl   makes a living as an artist and poet. He has worked for many years alone, living simply and frugally on a small island. During the week Carl engages in many mind-blowing conversations and juicy collaborations- taking his work to a new level. He finds himself singing his poetry, and developing a performance piece with a small group of collaborators. His work will never be the same!
